Make Charts & Graphs Inside After Effects
AE Screens offers three After Effects templates that let you easily design and animate pie charts, bar graphs, and line graphs inside After Effects.
Pie Chart Builder
Set the values -- Open the PIE CHART BUILDER composition and select the PIE CHART layer. Access the Values section within the Pie Chart effect to input up to 10 values. The template automatically calculates percentages based on total values, and these can be keyframed.
Adjust color -- The Colors section lets you customize slice and label colors individually.
Format labels -- Under Labels, choose display formats: "Name - %", percentage only, or name only. Adjust label distance from the pie chart and toggle matching label colors with slice colors.
Bar Graph Builder
Customize Graph Appearance -- Controls graph width and height (in pixels), bar thickness, number of values (up to 10), maximum and minimum Y-axis values, auto-centering toggle, and grid line color.
Set Values -- Input numerical values for each bar in the Values section.
Set Colors -- Assign colors to individual bars in the Colors section.
Line Graph Builder
Customize Graph Appearance -- Adjust graph width and height, number of data points (up to 10), Y-axis value ranges, margin spacing, auto-centering, and grid color.
Set Values -- Select each LINE layer and set numerical values for corresponding data points.
Set Line Appearance -- Configure line color, thickness, and optional fill beneath the line with customizable fill color.
Add Additional Lines -- Duplicate LINE layers to add multiple lines, repeating customization steps for each.
